iOS Privacy Policy

Introduction

K5R Softwares LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website hyud.app and the iOS application Hyud, distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store (collectively referred to as the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you interact with our Service. By accessing or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We encourage you to also review Apple's privacy policy, as Apple collects certain information through the App Store that is governed by their own privacy practices.

Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, purchase a license, or subscribe to Hyud, we collect your email address and password (stored securely with encryption). This information allows you to access Hyud across both iOS and macOS devices and enables us to provide customer support and manage your subscription or license.

Payment Information: Payments are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not store your credit card details. Payment processing also involves third-party services such as RevenueCat and Superwall, which help us manage subscriptions and in-app purchases.

License Validation: The Hyud application connects to our servers to validate your license or subscription. During this process, we may log minimal technical information, including your IP address, device identifier, or subscription status, primarily to prevent fraud and ensure legitimate use of the software. If you purchased a license on our website for use on macOS and wish to activate it on iOS, our servers will validate your license key.

Device Information: We collect device information including device model, iOS version, and advertising identifiers (IDFA) for analytics and attribution purposes.

Crash Reports and Technical Logs: We use services such as Sentry and Crashlytics to collect crash reports and technical logs. This data helps us diagnose problems and improve the stability and performance of the app.

Analytics and Tracking: We use analytics services such as Mixpanel, Google Analytics, and the Facebook Pixel to better understand how users engage with our app, measure attribution and campaign performance, and improve user experience. These services may collect usage statistics and behavioral data.

Push Notifications: We may send you push notifications to provide updates about the Service, your account, or important announcements. We do not collect data through push notifications.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to process transactions, manage software licensing and subscriptions, and provide customer support. It also helps us maintain and improve our Service by monitoring technical performance and diagnosing issues. We use your account information to manage your account and synchronize your data across devices (iOS and macOS), and to validate licenses purchased on other platforms (such as our website).

In addition, we may use your email address to send you purchase confirmations, important notifications about the Service, and future marketing or product updates. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by following the instructions provided in our emails.

Apple App Store and Privacy

Our app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple collects certain information through the App Store, including app downloads, updates, and usage data. This data collection is governed by Apple's privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.

We may use Apple-provided services such as push notifications to communicate with you. In the future, we may offer additional authentication options such as Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google to provide you with convenient and secure login methods.

For more information about how Apple handles your data, please visit Apple's privacy policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
