How to block the Spark Mail application on Mac

1. Download Hyud

The first step is to simply download Hyud for macOS by clicking here. Hyud is powerful a macOS application that allows you to easily block applications on your Mac.

2. Authorize Hyud to run in background

Once the application has started, the first time you launch it, it will ask for your authorization to run in background in order to block applications you choose. Go into your system settings and enable the application to run in the background and follow the steps as shown on the images.

Go into the Login Items & Extensions settings to enable Hyud.

Click on the toggle to enable Hyud to run in background.

Enter the password to authorize Hyud to run in background.

Click on the 'I allowed' button to confirm to Hyud that you authorized it to run in background.

3. Configure the application blocker to block Spark Mail

Simply select Spark Mail from your Mac to block it.

Go into the application blocker settings and click on 'Block an app'.

Select the application you want to block.

4. Click on the toggle to start blocking applications

Now simply click on the toggle to start blocking Spark Mail as shown on the image above.

Click on the toggle to start blocking the application.

5. Spark Mail is now blocked

You can repeat this action for each application that you want to block.
